Order Information

When an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. The email will contain all the information about your order. The email will also contain your payment method and our details to transfer the payment. For example, if you have ordered with Paypal, our account details will be displayed. You can then take this information and apply it to your account. Example:

This system also applies with other payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Paypal, Direct Deposit, Cheque and Money order.

Delivery information

You should receive your order within the chosen shipping rates as described to you with your order. Sales orders will be sent the same working day as your order was placed.

Insurance / Missing Parcels

Marlowes Books is not responsible if your order goes missing in the post. We will try our best to track your order, but you will not be refunded if your order does not arrive. Insurance is available upon request. Customers must contact us with their insurance request. Insurance is extra and is not inclusive of the postage rates.

Shipping information

Shipping time and price depends on your residence and what options you choose. We offer two options for within Australia and two options for all international postage. Small delays are to be expected during peak seasons.

Payment types

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Paypal, Direct Deposit, Cheque and Money orders. As soon as we receive payment, your book will be sent the same day.

Returns policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition, within 7 days of the delivery date.

To return an item, please ensure that you wrap the package securely, enclosing a note giving the reason for the return, and send it to the return address detailed below.

In the case of defective items please ensure that you wrap the package securely, enclosing a note detailing a full description of the fault, and send it to the return address detailed below.

If you return goods as detailed, within 7 days, we will issues a full refund for the price of the book or books. This does not include shipping unless we are at fault.

Rights to cancel

If you contact us before the item is shipped, we can refund you immediately. However if the item has already been shipped, you will have to return the book to us as described above.
We "Marlowes Books" reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason what so ever. If you have already payed for an item ordered and we choose to cancel, your money will be refunded in full.

Privacy

Marlowes books takes privacy and security very seriously. We do not pass any information on to any other company or individual under any circumstances. Your details are for us and your order only. Any credit card details that are transmitted to us are done so on our ssl secure server. Once your credit card has been processed, your details are deleted immediately.

Please package items securely. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless they are faulty or were delivered to you in error.

Once we have received the book, we will refund the purchase price of the book or books. This does not include shipping unless we are fault and shipping for that item.
