Publishers Description: This record of the 2/10th Field Regiments describes its formation in Brisbane more than 50 years ago, its participation in World War 11 in Singapore and Malaya, the incarceration of the members of the Regiment in Changi, and their subsequent dispersal to work camps in Singapore, Burma, Thailand, Borneo and Japan. Copiously illustrated, provides an honour roll of the men who were killed or missing in battle in the Malayan campaign, or as prisoners of war. Also provides details of men awarded military honours. Includes an index. The author served as a lieutenant with the 2/10 Field Regiment in Malaya from 1940-45, was imprisoned in Changi gaol and worked on the Burma-Thailand Railway. In 1993 he was awarded an OA for his service to community health.
